The Polar Express movie made popular by Tom Hanks is a Christmas story about a boy awakened by the sounds of a locomotive roaring up to his front yard on Christmas Eve. The young boy is invited to go to the North Pole to Santa’s home and as the story goes the young boy is not sure he even believes in Santa Clause at his age. It is just a wonderful Christmas story written by Chris Van Allsburg converted into the wonderful movie The Polar Express. Through the course the young boy starts to understand that what he believes does really count. The story is set in winter time at Christmas with snow and all the trimmings. Thanks to one of the great model train manufactures Lionel who immortalized The Polar Express Train Set into 3 incredible scales the N, O and G gauge models. Whichever gauge you decide on a Polar Express train set makes the perfect Christmas present for young and old railroad hobbyists’.
