Here are some tips to keep in mind when negotiating Craigslist. One good tip is to shop in your own area so you can go pickup your purchase and do your inspection to see if it is in good shape. It is never a good idea to agree to shipping of your purchase unless maybe it is your idea. If you set-up pick-up and delivery from a shipping company on your own you have control of the process. You may have some trouble understanding the listings for some motorcycles simply by the way the seller has provided the description. The description may not describe correctly what your understanding is or vice-versa. They may mean something different. Not to mention location is also important unless you want to travel across country to pick-up you new motorcycle.
