In the job market today a bilingual employee has much mor value to the employer. The reason is it opens the door to another market he did not have before. A bilingual person will not only open doors for him or herself but also the company they work for. Providing tremendous gains for the company. With a bilingual employee the business owner can now do business with more than one culture this expands the customer base. By learning Spanish the time spent to gain the skill is well spent. You can verify this right now by getting a copy of a local newspaper. Scan the classifieds pages and you will see very fast 'why is it important to learn Spanish'! Just look at all the ads looking for someone that is bilingual then look at all the ads that do not require it but consider it a plus. It will become very clear to you why it is so important. With all the competition for most entry-level jobs that are available having a language skill is a real advantage. Advancement comes very fast with more money and promotions. Go for an early start with all the options open to learn Spanish today you will find you can fit it right in. By using your unproductive time spent going to and from work. Even the time spent working out, jogging or walking can be spent learning Spanish without messing up your normal routine.
